Here is a list of the calls that are being added to the PLUS program nationwide, officially effective in Sept. of 2026. Many of these calls will begin from different formations (Waves, Boxes, Columns, etc.).
With rare exceptions, the DEFINITION of the call will remain the same.
From Facing Dancers (but not facing each other in the center of the square), dancers face out to end as a couple. From a Static Square, the designated dancers first step forward into the center, then face away from your partner.
Those who can Turn 1/4 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left. There must be dancers who can do each part of the call.
Those who can Turn 3/4 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left. As with Quarter Thru, there must be people doing each part of the call.
Those facing out Cloverleaf, while the others do the <Anything> call.
From Tidal Wave: The 2 end dancers stay in place as the center 6 trade.
From Right-Hand Columns (of 6 or 8): Those who can Turn 1/4 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left. There must be dancers who can do both parts of the call.
From Right-Hand Columns (of 6 or 8): Those who can Turn 3/4 by the Right, then those who can Turn 1/2 by the Left. There must be dancers who can do both parts of the call.
From Box Circulate only: The trailers Scoot Back, while the leaders Dodge (as in Walk and Dodge).
From a couple only, Hinge, finishing in a Right-Hand Mini-Wave at right angles to the original couple, with the new handhold centered on the original handhold.
From facing couples: All Pass Thru, Quarter In, and Left Touch.
From a Couple or Mini-Wave, dancers turn to face each other and Pass Thru.
